Garage door safety starts with you. Here are a few tips that will keep you and your family safe around your garage door.

1. A garage door that is fully open is not easily hit.
2. Never grab a hinge or edge of a section to open or close a door.
3. Remove all tools and debris away from door tracks. Many people like to store shovels, rakes, etc. in the corner of the garage and this can cause door to come off track.
4. Twice a year lube and inspect your door, you will notice changes in the performance and prevent large repair bills.
